The Oaks is located on Picton Lane at the intersection with Ash Hey Lane.
Coming from the A56 turn at the lights  into School Lane, Mickle Trafford.  At T Junction turn right then first left into Picton Lane.  The Oaks is 1 mile down road on left hand side at junction with Ash Hey Lane.
 
From Cheshire Oaks.  From the roundabout with the M53 follow signs for A5117 Queensferry and keep left.  Most traffic is turning right to Cheshire Oaks.  Keep left and take the very first turning on left marked Stoak/Wervin.
Follow this road for approx 2.5 miles.  As you come into Picton just past Manor Farm you will see a red post box on your right at junction with Green Lane.  The Oaks is the next driveway on your right.  If you pass Ash Hey Lane you have gone too far.

There is a maximum capacity of 20 guests.

How many cars can fit in the driveway of the Oaks?

We can often fit around 9 cars on the driveway.

Are there any house rules?

Accepted Answer

No shoes inside (shoe racks provided)
No smoking inside
No parties (other than for staying guests)
Guests to remove all rubbish and recycling as directed at check in
Helium canisters MUST be taken home with you
Rubbish to be placed into skip and recycling as directed
No NOS (mitrous oxide) cannisters or drugs of any kind

What is the policy on noise?

After midnight we ask guests to lower the music levels considerably so that noise does not carry beyond the property boundary and create a sleepless night for the neighbours.
We ask that guests come indoors after midnight and if music is continuing to be played then please close all doors and windows to minimise any disturbance.
If you are in doubt if you walk to the bottom of our driveway if you can still here the party in full swing then it is too loud!
We are fortunate that The Oaks is set in large grounds and therefore the neighbours are further away than in many properties. However, we still wish to be respectful which is why the midnight rule is there.

What is provided?

Guets are provided with a 65 inch TV, TV in each of the 5 bedrooms, PlayStation, Skysports and Sky Movies, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Family board games, Well equipped kitchen, Glassware for 20, Range Cooker, Microwave, Large fridge freezer, BBQ, Outdoor seating and optional Hot tub hire (extra £200 charge).
Towels and linens are provided.

Note:  If the taxi driver hasn’t heard of The Oaks he/she may well have heard of Picton Hall.  It’s opposite!

At this time, we do not accept any pets.

What is the policy around smoking?

Accepted Answer

No smoking inside.  The smoking area is in the rear of the property only outside on the patio. Dispose of cigarettes in the sand bucket provided.

Accepted Answer

Although parties and gatherings are not authorised, it may be possible for an agreement to made through contacing us with the full details of what you had in mind. Please note that this, if authorised, may come at additional cost.

Sainsburys, Tesco, ASDA all deliver.  I'm sure others do too - please ask if unsure.
